Coming Soon: New Microsoft Planner to include To Do and Project For The Web capabilities

In the next few months, Microsoft is consolidating Project for the Web and Microsoft To Do features and capabilities into the new Microsoft Planner.

In the next few months, Microsoft is consolidating Project for the Web and Microsoft To Do features and capabilities into the new Microsoft Planner. 

Combining the functionality of these three tools into one will give you a simpler and more efficient experience. The new Planner will also include integration with Copilot: Microsoft’s new AI tool.

Additional premium capabilities of the new Planner app include:

  • Sprints, baselines, portfolios, advanced dependencies with lead-lag capability, people view and goals (coming in 2024).
  • Copilot in Planner (we will share more about pricing and details for Copilot in Planner in the coming months).
  • Views that allow you to drill down on priorities like timeline, people, goals, custom fields and task dependencies.

You may start to see pop-up banners (like this one) that point to more information from Microsoft while you are using Project for the Web, To Do or Planner.
